Good morning Mississauga,

Today’s issue has a big one for families: a chance to win a free week at Muskoka Woods Summer Camp.

We’ve also rounded up three of Sauga’s best World Cup watch spots, plus a car show, local markets, new cafés, and a few deals worth using this week.

Let’s get into it!

This Week’s Local Feature

Muskoka Woods Summer Camp

What if summer was the highlight of his year? Enter to win a free week of camp

For many kids, summer means more screen time, more time indoors, and hearing "I'm bored" before lunch.

At Muskoka Woods, summer looks different.

Wakeboarding. Mountain biking. Climbing walls. Giant swings. Laser tag. Sports. New friends. Campfires. Late-night cabin laughs.

For one unforgettable week, boys trade screens for adventures they'll talk about all year.

Parents often tell us they come home with more confidence, more independence, and stories that never stop.

Whether your child is outgoing or needs a little help stepping outside their comfort zone, camp creates space to grow.

ImportEXPO brings its Toronto Summer show to Mississauga for an evening packed with exotic cars, custom builds, and vendors catering to serious car fans.

Celebration Of Artistry

📅 Friday, June 19 | 📍 Vic Johnston Community Centre

The Encore Series brings its Celebration of Artistry Awards and Social to Streetsville for a lively night of local talent, awards, drinks, and mingling with Mississauga’s arts community.

Why save it: Tickets close the day of the event, and it’s a one-night chance to celebrate local talent, meet artists, and be part of Mississauga’s creative scene.

Sauga’s Best World Cup Watch Spots

You don’t need to leave Mississauga to find a great World Cup crowd. Here are three local spots serving up big screens, good eats, and plenty of game-day energy.

Molkagtez Mexican Cuisine

📍 89 Lakeshore Rd. E, Port Credit

Mexico is co-hosting this World Cup, so where better to watch than Port Credit's most electric Mexican spot? Molkagtez is showing every match that falls during open hours, and the room is already a party: live music, a packed Tulum-jungle patio, and a crowd that knows how to keep it going. Come for the sizzling molcajete, Baja fish and pastor tacos, fresh guac and ceviche, plus $5 Jose Cuervo shots and beer buckets to share, $30 domestic or $38 international. Every table gets free chips all tournament long. Bring your friends, grab a bucket, and make a night of it.

Winners Edge Sports Bar & Grill

📍 2425 Truscott Dr.

Watching the World Cup at home is fine. Watching it on a wall of screens with a room that erupts on every goal is the whole point. Winners Edge is a proper South Mississauga sports bar built for this, with games on every TV so you never miss a moment. The weekly specials line up perfectly with the group stage: $10 wings Monday through Wednesday, $5 domestics Monday and Tuesday, and Friday fish and chips for $12.99. Round up your crew, grab the famous garlic parm fries, and get there before kickoff.

Social Cue

📍 2666 Royal Windsor Dr., 2nd Floor

This is the kind of place where the game actually feels big. Social Cue is one of Mississauga’s best World Cup watch-party picks, with a massive 165” screen, a high-energy crowd, and a game-day setup made for groups that actually want to feel the match. It’s part sports bar, part billiards lounge, part group hangout, which makes it an easy call if you want more than just the match on TV. Come hungry for the must-try smash burger and wings, then work your way through the full cocktail bar, beers, and drink menu while the match plays out. The kitchen is halal-friendly too, so it’s an easy group pick. Add in pool tables, PS5 lounge rooms, and the whole place reacting together when the ball hits the net, and you’ve got the perfect night out.

New & Notable

Star Wars MINISO Pop-Up Ends Sunday

The Star Wars x MINISO pop-up at Square One is open in Centre Court until Sunday, June 21. Expect a limited-time Star Wars collection, photo-friendly displays, and merch tied to The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Why it matters: It’s a short-run Square One pop-up, so this is the last week to catch it before it closes.

Lenny’s Café Is Coming In July

Lenny’s Café says it’s opening in July at 3660 Hurontario Street, with Italian coffee, focaccia, gelato, grab-and-go boxes, and a bottle shop.

Why it matters: It gives the Hurontario corridor another café to watch, and the menu looks more lunch-and-linger than quick coffee only.

Columbus Café Now Open in Erin Mills

Columbus Café has officially opened at Erin Mills Town Centre, bringing a European-style café experience with handcrafted drinks, pastries, breakfast croissants, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of sweet treats. Look out for signatures like the Biscoff-topped Bear’s Latte and matcha lemonade.
