Good morning Mississauga,
Here’s your Tuesday list of ticketed plans, local finds, new openings, deals, and community events worth knowing before the weekend rush.
This week has a big taco festival, TEDx in Dixie, a Motown night to book ahead, a few standout deals, and some local events to save before the weekend sneaks up.
Let’s get into it!
This Week’s Local Feature
Muskoka Woods Summer Camp
Some of the most important things your child learns aren't taught in a classroom.
Parents want their children to succeed academically.
But confidence, leadership, resilience, communication skills, and friendships matter too.
At Muskoka Woods, kids spend a week learning how to:
Make new friends
Try new experiences
Build confidence
Develop independence
Work as part of a team
Grow in leadership
Many families tell us camp helped their child become more outgoing, more responsible, and more willing to step into new situations.
It's a week that can shape a child's confidence for years to come.

Vegastar Driving School

Calm, one-on-one lessons for new drivers in Mississauga.
When your teen starts to drive, you want more than a pass.
You want them to stay calm, spot risks, and make safe choices when you are not in the car.
A government-approved driving course lets drivers take the G2 test after eight months instead of waiting a full year. It helps lower your insurance costs too.
Vegastar Driving School helps new drivers build key skills one lesson at a time. Students learn parking, lane changes, highway driving, and how to handle the road with confidence.
What stands out is how often their past students point to the same things: patient teachers, clear tips, and lessons that helped them feel ready for both test day and a lifetime of safe driving.
Another reason families choose Vegastar is its Guaranteed Pass Package. Students get unlimited in-car training, so they can keep practicing until they feel ready. The package includes free pickup and drop-off, road-test practice, and use of a school car for the test.
More practice for them. More peace of mind for you.
