Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area opens Saturday
Mississauga is getting a new waterfront destination this weekend.
Credit Valley Conservation says Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area officially opens to the public on Saturday, May 30, with a sunrise ceremony at 6 a.m. and free family activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The new conservation area adds trails, restored habitat, and a new way to get close to the lake along Mississauga’s eastern shoreline.
Why it matters:
This is one of the more meaningful public-space openings Mississauga has seen in years.

Reptile & Plant Expo Family Pass
