The Sauga Summer Programs Guide Pt. 2

Camps fill up fast once school lets out. Here are five local programs worth booking now, everything from robotics to theatre, for kids of just about every age. Find the right fit and book this week before they’re gone.

If summer planning is on your radar for any kid in your life, start here. Otherwise, Local Finds are right after.

RoboThink WonderSTEM

📍 Erin Mills

Summer at RoboThink WonderSTEM is where kids build, code, create, and have fun. Designed for kids ages 5 to 14, the STEM Robotics & Kickboxing Camp gives children a full week of hands-on robotics building, beginner-friendly coding, creative engineering challenges, and daily movement through kickboxing fitness. Each week brings a new theme (from amusement parks to safari zoos to planes and racing!), so kids can return for multiple weeks and enjoy a different experience every time. Campers build robots, solve challenges, work in small teams, and develop confidence through both STEM learning and active play. Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, with small groups capped at 16 campers, and a free pizza lunch every Friday. No previous robotics or coding experience required.

Save on registration: Weekly Sauga readers get $5 off with code 5SAUGA, stackable with RoboThink's 10% off early bird and 10% off sibling discounts.

COOKSMART

📍 Port Credit

At COOKSMART, kids from SK to Grade 7 spend the week making delicious food from scratch, from homemade soups and tacos to sushi, baking, and global treats. Camps run weekly from July 6 to August 28, with lunch, snacks, ingredients, kitchen supplies, a digital recipe book, and a skill report card included. They’re currently taking new campers at their Port Credit location, with spaces also available in Oakville.

Members save 20% on camp and get an at-home cooking kit with an apron, binder, name badge, and sew-on badges to help kids keep cooking after camp. Families can also get $25 off each additional child with code CSFAMILY2, or grab COOKSMART’s free 2026 camp guide to plan the summer.

Monarchs Basketball

📍 Paramount Fine Foods Centre

Monarchs Basketball, Mississauga’s longest-running basketball association, runs summer camps for boys and girls from JK to Grade 10 of all skill levels, in Mississauga, as well as nearby cities. Campers learn shooting, dribbling, passing, game strategy, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through expert coaching, structured drills, competitions, and supervised gameplay.

Camps run Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm at Paramount Fine Foods Centre, with full-day and half-day options, optional extended care, daily challenges, prize opportunities, and a Friday pizza lunch for full-day campers. Register for one week and get $25 off each additional week (email [email protected] to redeem).

The Kosha School

📍 Obelisk 1, City Centre

Why take ordinary music lessons when students can work toward internationally recognized music certifications? The Kosha School is the only school in Mississauga offering both Indian and Western music education, with structured learning pathways through RCM, Trinity College London, and Conservatory Canada. Kids and adults can connect with their roots while mastering global musical traditions through lessons in Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Drums, and Voice.

Little Star Productions

At most theatre camps, kids perform someone else's script. At Little Star Productions, they write their own. Over a week, performers ages 7 to 14 team up in small groups to dream up and perform their very own original short play, inventing the characters, mixing in their own music and choreography, building or scavenging their props, and raiding a costume closet stocked from past productions. By the end, they take the stage with a show that's entirely their own. The Summer Theatre Day Camp runs in weekly sessions through July, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, at St. James United Church (400 Burnhamthorpe Road, just east of Hwy 427), for $375 plus tax per week. Registration is open now.

Save 10% when you mention “The Weekly Sauga”, during your registration.

Most of these kick off the first week of July. If one catches your eye, grab the week now, spots move quickly.
